I picked my son up from pre school today, and the teacher wanted me to stay after to talk to him and me.
She said he constantly stuck his tongue out at her & others, he hit the teacher with his bag when he was told to sit down (he got upset), and says NOOO a lot all of a sudden (when asked to do something etc). He's never been like this before.
What can i do to stop his behavior?
We've done time outs, No TV or Ipad, Threaten to throw his toys away if he doesn't listen.
Answer
He should not be in school at three - he should be at home with you, or with another adult who loves him. Five is the earliest suitable age for school, if you don't want to educate him yourself.
At three he shouldn't be watching TV or using an iPad anyway. He should be outside playing in the dirt, or building with Lego, or drawing and painting, or listening to stories.
Clearly he's unhappy at school. Punishing him is totally counter-productive and even if done immediately would make him certain you were not listening. To punish a child that young several hours later will make him think you hate him.
The best thing to do is to pull him out of school and spend time treating him as a valuable human being until he's old enough for a structured environment.

Noah Ark lesson for 3 year old preschool sunday school class?
ksssks
I am teaching my daughters 3 year old sunday school class. This sunday they are learning about Noah Ark. Any ideas of what I can bring for the kids or what I can do with them.
Answer
If you have a good story in your lesson to read to the kids, just act it out as you go. Pretend to help Noah build the Ark. Bring play tools for the kids if you have them, or they can just pretend to saw the wood, hammer it together, paint tar or something on the outside to help make it more waterproof, etc.
Next you could make paper bag puppet animals (find some cute cartoon animal heads online that you can cut out and let them color and then glue on bags to make puppets. Make pairs of animals so there are 2 kids with the same animal. Then you can play a game where they find their matching animal pair. You can all work together to "gather the animals" and help lead them onto the "Ark" that you built. (Maybe make a circle of chairs where the Ark is or something.)
Finally, once you, the kids, and all the animals are safely on the Ark you can have them help you shut the HEAVY door and all pretend to make rain and storm noises. If you have another teacher to help you, maybe she could flash the lights for some lightning! Then you can all pray together and thank God for all his help building the ark and gathering the animals, and for keeping us safe and guiding us in our lives just as He helped Noah and his family.
Anyway, those are a few ideas. I teach a three and four year old class on Wednesday nights and they LOVE to act out the Bible stories. It's always really fun! For a snack you could do some kind of rainbow theme - although I don't have a specific idea for that right at the moment! Have fun!
