What kind of backpacks/bags do most High School kids use?

I'm going into High School and im not totally shure what kind of bag or backpack I would use? Cause I see most girls use something like a beach bag, i'm not really shure what those would be called.

A few idea's:
Okay so most girls at my high school use big bags like you said because we have to bring our gym clothes, after school clothes (sports), lunches, ect.
So i bring on the days i have no after school activites and no gym class my vera bradley bookbag. I carry it and then when i go to lunch my lunch is in it, along with my normal things in my purse.

Another idea would be an across the chest bag. I have a coach one. They are around 100 dollars and are very in. you can put just the few things you need need in it for the day if you do not want to bring a purse. A lot of girls not just at school but in magazines ect. are using these.


Finally there is the big bag. Victoria Secrets Pink is a brand we all use. I have a Marc Jacobs one i caught on sale. American Eagle, Hollister, or Forever 21 will have one also that is trendy.

As far as the backpacks go we all use Northface. They are 100 to 200 dollars and are very in. you can order them online or get them from a sporting goods store like Dick's ect.

That's justa a coinsidence, all my kids had a big variety of Japanese cartoon figures backpacks or backpacks provided by their school. It could be that all those packs were bought by your school.

Why do the neighbor's cats throw their litter at me?

Everytime I walk by my neighbor's house, their 3 cats throw balls of kitty litter at me. It gets stuck in my hair and in my backpack, and kids at school have started to call me names like "Poop Head". It is so destressing. What should I do?

poor little poop head...lol... OK... next time you walk by bring some ammunition of your own... water balloons would work great as would a water gun... but if would like to make peace with these naughty kitty's.... smear catnip all over yourself and let them mew over you instead..... ( personally I would go with the water balloons)...Lol...

well, I'm going into my junior year of high school and most people use those expensive Dakine backpacks, it really depends on your budget Some girls just use on of those oversize shoulder bags, but for the first week when you're getting all your books I recommend using a normal back pack after that use whatever(:

Like if they grab your backpack or say crap to you. What do you usually do. Sometimes i get so pissed at kids at school. Without caring what they will do and not thinking about it
The last part i meant to say "How are you able to not care how they react and not think about it?

You laugh at them. When someone does something to you they are looking for a reaction from you. If they don't get the one they are looking for they go look for prey that they will get it from.
Don't say anything just laugh. Bullies hate being laughed at. They will lose face with their buddies who are watching. If they hit you then you have grounds to go to the authorties and press charges against them. If they don't then you have also won.

How do women from other countries carry so much weight on their heads?

The schoo project im doing requires coming up with a solution to help people carry weight that they arent supposed to carry. Average man is supposed to carry 15% of their weight, but many people carry more and backpacks for school kids also cannot hold a lot. Im doing some research and found African woman can hold 70% of their weight on their heads, but how do they do it?

Answer
One reason for the African woman's ability to bear loads effortlessly seems to be her posture. As a girl, she learns to stand so straight that her pelvis and vertebrae line up like a well stacked pile of blocks.

Another reason may lie in her gait. At the beginning of most persons' strides the head bobs up and the body slows; then as the foot moves forward, the head dips and the body accelerates. This bobbing and dipping and accelerating and decelerating requires a lot of effort. But African women put all their energy into moving forward. The vertical motion is absorbed in the bones and soft tissue. Hips bob less than ankles; shoulders bob less than hips; and the head (with its burden) bobs not at all. Thus, while most people bounce along like wagons on egg- shaped wheels, African women move like wagons on round wheels.
