High I'm starting high school soon and im like SUPER nervous :(

1. Any tips about remembering where your classes are?

2. Is it true that you can take your book bag into your classes with you?

3. For gym do you HAVE to swim, if so for how long?

4. Are the older kids mean to the freshmen?

5. All of my friends are going to different hs's... I'm not exactly a social butterfly but i'm not scared of people, any tips on how to make friends quick and easy?

6. And.. what was your first day like? lol (:

Lol. Don't worry about high school, it's like middle school except with bigger kids lol xD Well. here's my opinions:

1) you can get a map of the school and just mark or color code them in order. If you don't have a map, just try remember the room numbers, it'll help a lot.

2) Sadly and frankly, no, you can't bring book bags xD. Some schools does, but rarely. Book bags allowed is for college =3

3) I don't think you have to swim. Some people can't even swim! And some are afraid of waters. So, it shouldn't really be mandatory.

4) Haha. Nice question. They aren't really mean, but they do sort of try to show off and tease. But depends on your reputation too =o

5) The best way and easiest way to make friends. Is just by start saying "hi" ^^

6) My first day...lol. Everyone was lost, took forever to get to the right classes. And made some "future to be friends". xD It's LIKE middle school accept, you have more responsibility =o

I go to a very small school so kids pick up on details. I don't know what to do about going to the loo in the middle of class. And kids look through our bags and last year they found a girls supplies and told everyone (SCARY) I also would like a list of what i need to have

P.S. i get my period every other week and my Dr. doesn't know why

ok well first of all they are just stupid kids cause every girl goes through this so they need to grow up!and bring a smakk purse or bring a small bag in side your backpack and you will need pada or tampons and wipes cause you never know what could happen maybe a spare pair of undies so if you had an accident and just be prepared! :)

Can you be sued for making someone mad who punched a window?

Some kids I know hid another kids school bag today and the kid got mad and punched out a wire enforced window. I was wondering, if he has ligament or nerve damage which is highly possible because of the wire and glass, and needs stitches and/or surgery, can he sue the kids that hid his school bag. It was his decision to punch out the window so I don't see where there would be a lawsuit but I was just wondering.

I've spent the whole day trying to find a good school bag, but it seemed the only ones available were either too young, or too old (I'm 16)
And I don't want to be like one of those lame scene kids who have Barbie bags, nor do I want to have a bag that has obnoxious surf slander all over it (I live in Australia).
So what's a fashionable bag, and where can I get it?

I am 16 too and I am from Australia too LOL. I also spent the whole day looking for a fashionable school bag. I ended up buying a billabong bag, it was about $60.00, but it has a simple design, but still looks cool. If I were you I would just buy like a billabong or roxy bag and just keep with a simple design, nothing to over the top

How many of you have participated, organized or called for our troops to be bought home from iraq? Y not?

Most know Iraq was a mistake. Innocent people are dying, our brothers, sisters, husbands and wives are coming home in body bags. Kids and innocent Iraqis are in the crossfire. We spend billions in blood money, and cant take care of ourselves. Once looked up to now we are despised. Our healthcare is sickening in itself. Are you trying to change things? Do you care? Organize in schools, churches or any meeting places. Look up the facts and act. So my question is who really cares? And whos all talk.

MY brother is in Iraq as I type and he insists we should remain there until the "job is done". HE tells me how badly those people hate us and he heard how they would kill him in his sleep if given the opportunity. He feels the only way to make the US safer is for the troops to stay there plugging away. I don't know if I agree with all of that, but I understand his side of it. That is why the US is so great, we are allowed to voice our opinions. I also think a lot of this war could have been avoided. So I continue to write the troops letters and send them boxes of cheer in order to keep their spirits up. I tell them how thankful we are that they are there so we may sit here on your butts and complain about how much gas costs. We must remember they are fighting for our freedom, and they are fighting for their lives as well.
