Cute backpacks or messengers bags for college girls?

ecstasy

I need help finding a good bag for school. I want something cute but not too overly cute. Something simple would be fine too. I don't like tote bags because...they really won't hold any of my books or other things. I looked everywhere for bags and backpacks but I can't find anything! I'll buy anything under 100.

Any suggestions? :)

Answer
Jansport has soooo many kinds of backpacks! whether it be for a girly 14 year old, or a hiker. they have something for everyone. Also their backpacks last pretty long! my sister had a jansport for 2 years of high school she carried it around entirely full, in rain, 102 degree sunshine. and it was still in good condition when she changed it!
Jansport also carries Laptop bags, and luggage!

another Great brand is Dickie's or Volcom. I've never owned one, but they have nice designs!

However, your best bet would be jansport :D

what should i carry in my school bag? (freeman girls)?

Answer
BASICS
- No. 2 pencils
- Mechanical pencils
- Colored pencils
- Pencil sharpener (hand-held with a top to collect shavings)
- A large pink eraser
- Ballpoint pens (Get a few red ink ones too, because some teachers have students do peer editing.)
- Highlighters
- Spiral-bound or composition notebooks
- Loose-leaf notebook paper (Teachers can be picky about paper. Some middle schools ask that students use the college-ruled variety.)
- A ruler with English and metric measurements

ORGANIZATIONAL HELPERS
- Several three-ring binders (Some teachers require that a binder be used exclusively for their class.)
- A three-hole punch (a regular one or one that fits in a three-ring binder)
- A pencil case that fits in a binder
- Binder dividers (The kinds with pockets are good for loose papers.)
- Pocket folders
- Folders that fit in binders
- A small notebook to record assignments
- A calendar for scheduling assignments
- A sturdy, supportive backpack (Some schools do not permit rolling backpacks because of space considerations, so check with your school before considering this option.)
- Two combination locks (If the school lockers do not have built-in locks, you might need one for the hallway and one for the gym.)
- Flash Drive to save any important documents

STUDY AIDS
- Index cards, ruled and unruled (These are great for making flash cards.)
- Highlighters
- A calculator (Check with the math teacher first before investing in an expensive one. Graphing calculators, for example, are required in many high school math classes. Teachers advise parents not to buy a calculator with more functions than students will use.)

EXTRA
- tampons
- pads
- lotion
- makeup bag
- cell phone
- iPod
- sunglasses
- brush
- bottle of water
- textbooks

College girls: what do you carry at school?

tattoozgir

I'll start college in the fall, and I'll need something to carry my books in, but I want a cute/stylish way. Girls, do y'all use backpacks, messenger bags or what? Rolling backpacks?

Thanks!

Answer
In college I use tote purses. Stylish and Its the perfect size to fit notebooks, folders. But if your one of the girls that carry textbooks large and binders I say go for a cute backpack. And definitely not rolling backpacks, leave that in middle school.

Is There Some New Fad Going On With People Dressing Like Babies And Sucking On Pacifiers?

I don't know how or when this started but I saw it going on at my college around the last couple of years...

It is mostly done by Asian girls (but some white do it too) where they dress in colorful skirts, have their hair in pigtails, sucking on pacifiers, and carrying Hello Kitty or some other baby oriented school bag.

What is up with this? Have you seen this at all yourself?

Answer
When I was in middle school (in the early to mid 90's) a lot of girls wore pacifiers around their necks and sucked on them once in awhile. I thought it was the strangest thing! It was a fad that passed thankfully.

Maybe what you're seeing now is something in the asian culture? I may be wrong, but I think it's Japenese girls with the pigtails and such. I think in their culture it's considered cute to dress like a child when you're not. I do remember hearing that. And maybe the white ones who are doing it are just following the trend? It's hard to say. Like I said, I could be dead wrong, but it's the only suggestion I can offer.

What would be the best designer bag (for school) for a college student?

Prrrril!

I'm looking for a perfect designer bag to replace my old school bag that I use everyday in school. Tote/shoulder bags, not backpacks please! Suggestions?? I'm a girl btw!

Answer
you could have a satchel from the cambridge satchel company but they are something like £94 for a brown one which is quite expensive. There is also Cath Kidston bags which are a cheaper alternative and have nice patterns on them. You just need to go onto the Cath Kidston website and click bags and then cross-body bags but they are quite expensive as well, with the cheapest being £30. I didn't see anything over £65 though so maybe that would be better for you. Hope this helped :)
