my bag is like this one

Answer
If the bag is made out of a fabric then look into iron-on paper made for most inkjet printers. You could also have the bag embroidered at a local embroidery shop.. Choose a clear image with high contrast to take to them, realize that the more colors used in the embroidery process the more expensive the job. Most will stick with one color and go with a black/white cartoonish look.

If the bag is a vinyl or other plastic material you can have your image printed out on a color (or black and white) laser printer. Coat the bag with Gesso (painted on, they sell it at craft stores) press the image print side down on the bag and make sure it's flat and the whole image is touching the bag/gesso. This flips the image, so make sure you flip your image before printing it! Once that dries use water and peel off the paper, the image will remain.

Answer
A tote works, you can get them anywhere, really!
Ross, Target, Forever 21, Love Culture, Sears, JC Penney, have affordable bags that are school sized that will fit books.
It depends what you like. I would prefer a cute messanger bag. It depends if you like hand bags or shoulder bags. Big hand bags work, they fit school books and school items.
Here's some images! ( : So maybe you can get an idea.

You should go window shopping! ( :

Hope I helped.

Do their school bags look different than the ones in the US? I've heard that they have a different style. Like, high school bags? Any pictures of them you could show me? Anywhere I could buy one?

Answer
In japan they definitely have cooler looking backpacks, and there wayyy expensive here and really hard to find, there really unique too.

Where can I get a school bag for a teenage girl?

Pumpkin.

I'm 14 and will be going into Year 10 soon and this year, I want to like everything I'm wearing i.e makeup, hair style etc. I really feel like my look is changing and I would like to recreate my image over the summer holidays. Please can you give me some websites/ links to online/ high street shops where there are affordable school bags? I'm looking for like satchels, roomy tote bags etc. Thanks.

Answer
I'm the same age and year as you. For affordable bags I would check out New Look, Primark, H&M and TKMaxx. If you want a better quality bag that would last you pretty much the whole year I would recommend Topshop, River Island and Monsoon/Accesorize (where I got my bag from). These shops are pricier but are worth it.

I got it for 3 pounds only which is good ;p , it is really simple plain backpack. Is it too out of fashion to carry beige bag? thanks, im 16 at the moment i cant afford to pay more for a school bag .. it is like the fourth from the end, exactly the same but without the eastpak sign, what do you think of it guys? http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.xelca.nl/images/dynamic/articles/_eastpacks.gif&imgrefurl=http://www.afterellen.com/blog/emilyhartl/styled-out-beautiful-bags&usg=__8uGwaFNtTxaSSIVd8orNIGWo4hM=&h=322&w=411&sz=49&hl=el&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=FR770eISFnIbrM:&tbnh=130&tbnw=165&prev=/images%3Fq%3Deastpak%2Ball%2Bcolours%26um%3D1%26hl%3Del%26biw%3D1345%26bih%3D531%26tbs%3Disch:1&um=1&itbs=1&iact=rc&dur=235&ei=GwBzTILPKMKRjAfsodymDw&oei=GwBzTILPKMKRjAfsodymDw&esq=1&page=1&ndsp=23&ved=1t:429,r:20,s:0&tx=69&ty=69 thank you

Answer
it's not the most attractive but it's not out of fashion. a backpack has to be more about functionality rather than fashion.
if it's about fashion, use a tote handbag. it fits your needs as is. who cares what anybody else thinks.

Train trip. What kind of chain would you recommend for locking suitcase and backpack?

John

I'm traveling to Mumbai. I heard there are rings below the seat, for locking bags and suitcases? Could you point me to a google image of a suitable chain (height, thickness and width of a link of the chain) and chain length that I could use for fastening my suitcase? I have a backpack (school bag type) too. How do I keep the backpack safe? Do I carry it with me while going to the toilet too? I'm traveling alone in an AC compartment.

Answer
An inexpensive cable lock from a bike shop should work just fine.
