kids being educated and Americans having goods ( commerce ) and Recovery help without FEMA.
Won't the Country fall apart.
Paul...Sorry man...I was being sarcastic.
Answer
Why don't you youtube it, I'm sure Ron Paul could explain it better than me, but I'll try...
FEMA's budget for 2012 is 3.2 Billion dollars...

Do we really need to spend 3.2 Billion dollars so that in the event of a hurricane, people can suffer and/or die in the Superdome? Is that money well spent? I think we should be able to operate an emergency services group for less than 1/10 of 3.2 Billion per year....
FEMA has expanded far, far beyond its intended purpose... FEMA now operates all over the world, on our dime... FEMA currently has operations and contracts in Australia, Canada, Chile, European Union, Germany, Israel, Mexico, NATO, New Zealand, Russia, and the United Kingdom....
http://www.fema.gov/about/offices/iad/iad_activities.shtm
FEMA is an extremely bloated organization and needs to be replaced by an emergency management group that makes fiscal and practical sense...
Public Education -
The public school system has failed us... We rank nowhere near the top concerning education... The public school system is/was designed to create nothing but good worker bees, individulism and critical thinking are not rewarded under this system... The vast majority of the folks in Washington attended private schools, and let me tell ya, their educations do not resemble what we see in public schools... Plus, imagine if instead of dumping Billions into public schools, we let people use that money as a sort of grant to pay for their child to attend the private school of their choice... If you're religious, or atheist, liberal, or conservative, your child can go to a school that reflects the ideals and values that you want instilled into them... In the end, the schools will compete against one another, they will have to prove their worth before they're given the keys to your children's minds...
The below article speaks to the beginnings of the public education system in America... This is important, because if you knew who formed the public education system and why, then you just might decide to support Ron Paul as well...

Which country do you agree with in relation to guns and students?
ELLE
America - All students should be armed with a gun so if a kid does bring a gun to school he/she can be shot dead by another student before they can kill anyone.
Australia - No student should have a gun...
Sorry if I offended any mericans, i didn't mean to. Not too long ago they showed a shooting at a school on the news. After they had an American (Politician? Not sure) say that the way to fix the problem was more guns, students should all be armed. One of Australia's politicians said the answer is no guns. That is how i got my information. Sorry it it is incorrect!
Answer
Simple which country has had NO school shooting fatalities I would rather my child come home from school on the bus and not in a body bag.
