i have found out in last couple of days my 5 year old son is sleeping on a the sofa with his father when he visits every other weekend for 2 nights, he also stays there for a week in the school holidays, my ex lives with his mum and grandfather and brother and his wife in a 2 bedroom flat...is this overcrowding and are there laws on living and sleeping arrangements...can anyone tell me or give me advice?? Though the situation is far from ideal, if your little boy is being loved and nurtured while with his father and family, I don't see this to be a problem.
If your son has no complaints and appears happy to spend time with his father, don't make an issue of it or be overly concerned.
I agree, maybe a sleeping bag is a solution, maybe even fun for a 5 year old.
