This should be a fun question to answer...
Sorry this is so long, but it'll be worth reading it.
Here's a list. You didn't say any certain budget or style, so I'm just doing this by trends.
Shoes:
-Flip Flops (any color)
-Gladiator Sandals
-Converse (For a girly look, go with pink, for an in the middle look, go for green, and for an edgy look, go with something like red or blue or black.)
Bottoms:
-Skinny Jeans. I don't know if they have the right kind of skinny jeans for kids sizes, but they might.
-Flair jeans.
-Get a nice pair of khakis, but don't wear them too much. They're kind of noobish unless you go to a preppy school.
-One or two skirts is good. Mostly any kind is good, but no A-line, below knee, or denim (actually, denim ones are acceptable as long as they are mini skirts, not too mini though, that's trashy.)
Tops:
-Graphic T's-You can't go wrong with these.
-Solid V-necks-They look good plain, and with a tank top or t-shirt over them.
-Tank tops-Wear them under stuff or over stuff.
Accesories:
-Jelly bracelets
-Silly bands
-Heart necklaces
Since you'll be going into sixth grade, you'll start changing around other girls, so if you aren't wearing a bra yet, start. Another option is undershirts, but bras are the best way to go. Get 4-6. And if you are wearing underwear with a dorky floral pattern, or something like "HSM" or "Hannah Montana", stop and get new underwear.
Totes and messenger bags are in for backpacks.
Popular stores:
If you go for the unoriginal look, Aeropostale, American Eagle, and Hollister.
Other stores are Forever21, Pacsun, Rue21, Charlotte Russe, Gap, JC Pennys, Macys, Bergeners, as well as many others...If you are still in kids sizes, go to JC Pennys, Macys, Bergeners, Kohls, and Old Navy. Things like Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe won't fit you.
And to Clickety, I really hope you see this:
She said 6th grade, not 3rd. The jeans might be ok, but those are NOT skinny jeans. The shirts..."I heart my dog"? EW. Why would you reccomend that, unless you're goal is to get her made fun of? The shoes are ok, but a little more kiddish than regular converse.
Hope I helped!
