Fun activities to keep 5 children of various ages entertained?

I'm nannying for a family with 5 children. Their ages range from 11 to 18 months. It tends to be really hectic keeping them all happy and entertained. I want to come up with some good activities or craft projects that I can bring over and they can all do together. Any good ideas?

Answer
Give each child the chance to choose an activity. Limiting each child's turn to 30 minutes will be the perfect way to make sure it's fair. Using a kitchen timer and letting them press "start" and then enjoy the activity. When the timer goes off, it's the next child's turn.

Board games are great
Uno is a lot of fun and easy for a variety of ages
A small bag of potting soil, some seeds, some water, and using a marker to label their cups - kids love to plant seeds and set them in the window sill.

How old do you have to be to own a paintball gun in Canada?

I am 13 and want a paintball gun. I live in Ontario and want to have one. Will I get into trouble with the authorities if I own one? Me and my friends are going to use it in a private area in a park and try to keep away from little kids or any other people. And can I buy just paint balls from a store or will they not allow me

i have seen kids alot younger playing paintball with their own gear. but wal mart is a huge bitch about age restrictions there policy is 18+ and they will not stand behind there products they are pretty much the wost people to buy from, there paint is shit, there service is garbage and they have no clue what they are talking about. buy from your local pro shop and some times they have no problem selling to people that are 9 or 10. but if you are going to play make sure you play safe with goggles and barrel bags there are many horror stories i have herd of people getting shot in the eye and going blind for life. and if you are going to play in a private park make sure you know the owner, have permission from the owner, people arnt going to see you just walking by,and you are out of range of any cars,houses, people, etc. paint ball is a great sport to get in to if you play right and safe. playing at a paintball field is also a good idea you learn alot more at a field then just with your friends in a random wooded area
