What to bring and wear forst daybof freshmen year?

I've been buzzing about what I'm going to go for in high school! We are having orientation this week and it just adds to the thrill! I have natural curly hair and I'm able to straighten it. Whenever my hair is curly its not flat curly it's puffy curly. My style is larger shirts, braided hair, Vans, TOMS, Forever 21, Abercrombie, Rue 21, Urban Outfitters, ect., ect,. I don't wear Hollister too much. I own a few thing but its not my entire closet. Could you provide links to cute tops/bottoms/shoes?
What school supplies? I've read you should just bring Pencils, pens and a notebook the very first few days. Is this true?
