I'm going to be a freshman when school starts this fall..
1. Do girls wear backpacks or do they have tote bags? Do they cary purses?
2. Are people more accepting or nicer in highschool then they are in middle school?
3. Do people hang out with other kids from different grades?

1) All of them. I usually carried a purse and books, but sometimes a tote bag because it would stink carrying everything haha. Depends on your schedule, the time you have to go to your locker, etc. I'm a tote bag person.
2) More accepting, but it depends on a lot of factors. The maturity level of certain clics, etc. High school is definitely more accepting, but it may take a few months or a year or so.....by end of Jr and Sr year things change and after h.s. even more so. But it is possible for your high school to be great and less conflicts than others! Just be confident and if somebody tries to make you feel inferior, don't let them.
3) Yes, constantly. But don't give into peer pressure unless you really want to do. Some make a lot of mistakes in high school because they want to be "accepted" by certain people, and end up with bad reputations...because they feel that they need to impress, but honestly it is not worth being somebody's friend if they are going to criticize you for not giving into their demands. Be the better person, it may be hard but it'll eventually all come to you and you will love your life lol. Be confident, have fun....enjoy high school. But college is so much better!
