It depends on your school.
I go to private school and everyone wears:
~ Juicy Couture <3 everything! (Clothes, accersories and BAGS)
~ Ed Hardy (t-shirts and keds)
~ Harajuku Lovers (clothes and bags)
~ Ben Sherman (t-shirts)
~ Coach (bags, shoes and accesories)
~ Custo Barcellona (clothes)
~ Ella Moss (tees)
~ Splendid (tees)
~ An occasional D&G, Dolce Gabanna, Cavalli, Fendi, Vallentino, Prada, etc.
~ Ugg shoes and accesories
~ Nikes (sneakers)
~ Velvet Angels, Alexandra Neel, Coach, Stuart Wiezman; Channel, Fendi, Dior shoes
~ Some girls wear hollister and aero (though I don't like it. But that's just my spoiled taste.)
~ and loads of other good stuff... There's too much to list.
~ There's only one rule: If it looks good, wear it. <3
I know lots of kids who go to public school and wear:
~ Hollister
~ Aeropostale
~ Abercombie
~ Victoria's Secret and Pink
~ Baby Phat
~ Apple Bottoms
~ Nikes and/or Jordans
~ Uggs (in the winter)
~ And all sorts of other things.
Although, really, what you wear doesn't matter. Like no one at my school examines labels or anything. lol. You should wear what says YOU, not what everyone's wearing. Just because it's designer, that doesn't mean that it's pretty and hot. Trust me, I've seen lots of ugly yet super expensive things at Saks and Barney's.

what do the kids at your school wear?
Specifically the people who fit into the "unpopular" and "popular" crowd.
I'm studying this for my social studies class as we have to do this assignment over our vacation, we have two weeks to study what make social cliques/crowds in high schools. We have to study two elements and I chose fashion/appearance and wealth. I've practically got this assignment in the bag but I need to do a random survey (online or in person) as part of it as well and then compile that into a graph.
What do the popular and unpopular kids wear in your high school (whether you be a student or teacher)?

Nice Pants/shorts (same as shirts)

these tend to be what "popular" kids wear
"unpopular" kids wear Cheap clothing
The reason people seperate them is from appearance usually good looking people or really funny people are "popular" and others are not
