I got it for 3 pounds only which is good ;p , it is really simple plain backpack. it's not the most attractive but it's not out of fashion. a backpack has to be more about functionality rather than fashion.
if it's about fashion, use a tote handbag. it fits your needs as is. who cares what anybody else thinks.

What are some good brands of backpacks for high school?

Q. I'm just started high school and I thought I needed a sturdier, higher quality backpack this year. My backpack during the school day weighs about 20-30 lbs on average, and when I pack it to walk home at the end of school it weighs about 25 lbs. I have a Jansport backpack, but it's pretty flimsy and I was wondering what other brands are better. Any answers much appreciated.
