I have boys and girls attending the party. Age range 2-12. Need ideas for cheap goody bags. Preferably a single item. No candies . Thanks a bunch.

I would get car themed coloring books/pages and print off internet to put in bag with crayola crayons usually .25 or 50 cents in back to school sales.
Why do goody bags? We never did.
Why not do a take home art project of make a car from boxes (free at grocery store), Cut cardboard wheels out, color with crayon or paint. Let them do a Fred Flintstone race by standing in their box, holding it up in the air and running. Cheap and entertaining and more memorable souvenir than a cheap goody bag. duct tape straps over the shoulder can help hold car up for small kids...

Question about air bag safety?

I am a male that is short,so i sit close to the steering wheel.Is it dangerous to sit to close to the steering wheel? I heard of people being killed or injured by air bags.How safe are air bags?There was an 18 year old girl killed by an air bag in Oklahoma a couple of days ago by an air bag in a minor accident in a high school parking lot.Are air bags helpful or harmful?

It all depends on the situation. Depending on the situation, air bags "DO" save lives. My son is only 5'5' and total my car last Sept. both air bags went off and he and his friend were ok. He hydroplaned and the car went in circles one way then the other, ripping the bumpers all the way off completing when it hit the barriers, needless to say my Monte Carlo was totalled but he and his friend weren't hurt at all. The air bags didn't hurt them either. I think they are worth having. The girl who was killed must have been a freak accident. I am only 4'11" and have wondered like you, but they are there for a reason to surround you when needed.
