im a girl, by time i go back to school ill be 13 and im going to 8th grade. I'm looking to start shopping for my back to school clothes, and I was wondering if anybody had ideas?? i want to look cute but not follow every trend. And I want it to be comfortable and cute. Any ideas?

70s fashion
Like the '50s and '60s coming back, so are the '70s! There are two main aesthetics: '70s bohemian, and '70s sophisticated glamour. First day outfit for my new high school?

Hey(: im going to be a freshman at a big lutheran school this year where i dont know anyone. our dress code is no skirts midthigh or shorter, no tanktops (without a sweater or shirt over covering shoulders) no jeans ect. My style is kinda cute girly, flowy, frilly and all haha. my favorite stores are forever 21, wet seal, kohls, Hollister, (most of their stuff is too short though) and stores like that. I havent gone clothes shopping yet, but i have some ideas on what i want to get.
My hair is dark brown with lighter brown/blondeish higlights. it goes just past my shoulders.
usually for makeup i wear pretty natural blush, eyeliner, and mascara with some sparkly eyeshadow.
I am tall but skinny and athletic. my eyes are brown.
so my questions are, what should i wear and how should i style my hair, in a way that will make me feel confident and make a good impression? Links to outfits or pictures are great to give me examples, and please dont just list stores. I CANT WEAR JEANS haha. Any advice is welcome, please just dont be mean or spam. Thankyou so much(:
