Going on my senior trip to Disney World?

Jojooo

This year, I'm going to be a senior in high school. My boyfriend and I were wanting to go to Disney World. I've been a few times before, but he's never been. We possibly wanted to go for spring break, which I know is at the end of March for us. We don't know how long we'll stay, probably as long as we can (so maybe around 5-6 days).I know it's still a while away, but before we know it, we'll have to actually book our trip and start planning it. So we're prepared for when it gets closer and time for us to book our trip, I'd like these questions to be answered:
-What are a couple/few hotels (just so we have more than one to look at) that would be around cheap to pay for, but still good for two almost-highschool graduates to stay at?
-I know there are a lot of shows and such that they do like every day in the different parks. I've only seen a few, and don't know what all there is. Are there any certain ones that we should definitely see/would probably be interested in?
-I don't really like riding too many roller coasters and "thrilling" rides that much because they make me feel sick. We'll obviously ride a lot of rides though. But what are other attractions we should go to, besides the "thrilling" rides?
-Are there any restaurants or places to eat there that you'd suggest? Cause I haven't been to that many that I remember.
-Anything else that you'd suggest we do while we're there?
-Any other tips you have for us?
I think that's all, haha, but if you can't answer them all, at least tell us what you can! (:

Answer
First of all, one of you will have to be 18 to check into the hotel, and will have to have a credit card in your name as well. The name on the reservation must match the name on the credit card used, and that person has to be 18.

Assuming that you have that covered...

*I'd stay on Disney property. Look into the Value resorts for the best rates. Pop Century is a good one because it doesn't share buses like the All-star resorts do. But those are an option as well. Keep in mind that spring break is a busy time, and rates at hotels in and out of Disney are going to be fairly high.

*Shows - the nightly shows are great - Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios, Wishes at Magic Kingdom, and Illuminations at EPCOT. They don't all show every night, so you'll need to check the schedules as your trip approaches. The Lion King show at Animal Kingdom is amazing - it shows several times every day. The electric parade at Magic Kingdom is pretty cool, and the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade there is a good one for seeing all the various characters. The Pixar parade at Hollywood Studios is also a good one. HS has a Beauty and the Beast show that is really good, and the Indiana Jones Stunt Show is also good.

*Rides - very few rides at Disney are thrill rides. At Magic Kingdom, you'd probably enjoy Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion. Splash Mountain has a big drop, but it's not one that really drops your stomach. Big Thunder Mountain is a coaster, but there are no big hills or drops on that. Hollywood Studios has 2 big thrill rides (Tower of Terror and Rockin Roller Coaster) - otherwise, you'd enjoy the movie ride and Toy Story Mania (a total kid ride, but lots of fun). EPCOT doesn't have a lot of rides. Soarin' is amazing, and shouldn't make you sick. Other than Test Track and Mission Space, you shouldn't have trouble with anything else there. At Animal Kingdom, you can ride the safari, and you'd probably be fine with Kali River Rapids. The Dinosaur ride isn't really too bad in terms of making you sick.

*Restaurants - if you're looking to save money, you want the quick-service/fast-food places. Cosmic Rays at Magic Kingdom is good. The ABC Commisary at HS is okay, and Pizza Planet is decent (fun, at least). I like the Sci-Fi Drive In at HS, but it's not quite as cheap.

*Tips:
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes
Take a backpack with snacks, water, and ponchos into the parks
Don't overplan
